Eunjung Yang is a Ph.D. student in the department of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on Community Development and Resilience and Geospatial Approach.

Eunjung Yang is a Ph.D. student and a graduate research assistant in the Department of Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management at the University of Florida (UF), working with Dr. Jin-Won Kim. She received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Geography. The overall goal of her research is to shed light on the role of tourism and recreation in the creation of healthy, sustainable, and resilient communities in order to improve people’s quality of life. To achieve this goal, Eunjung has studied community resilience and people’s health and recreation. Currently, she is linking community resilience and community quality of life in her research. In addition, she is interested in applying geospatial methodologies to tourism and recreation in order to analyze spatially varying phenomena and predict future community resilience and quality of life.
